Body Composition Scan Preparation Instructions

To get the most accurate results from your EVOLT 360 scan, please carefully follow the steps below.

Before Your Appointment

  • Download the EVOLT Active app and create your profile.

  • Fill out all personal information accurately and set your goals within the app — this ensures your scan results and macro recommendations are correct.

Recommended Scan Conditions

For the most reliable and consistent results, aim to complete your scan under the following conditions:

  • First thing in the morning, after emptying your bladder

  • Fasted — no food prior to the scan

  • Well-hydrated — aim for clear urine

  • No caffeine or caffeine supplements beforehand

  • No exercise or activity that raises body temperature before your scan

  • Avoid alcohol and processed foods for 24 hours prior

  • For hormonal accuracy: avoid scanning at the start of your period or around ovulation

  • Do not scan if you are pregnant or have a pacemaker

Hot tip:
👉 Scan at the same time of day, under the same conditions, every 4 weeks for the most accurate tracking.

Keeping Your EVOLT Profile Accurate

Your scan accuracy relies heavily on the data in your EVOLT Active app.
If anything changes — update it!

To update your details:
More → Edit Profile → Select the section you want to adjust

Choosing Your Goal

Different goals require different macro needs:

  • Fat Loss

  • Muscle Gains

  • Better Health

If your aim is to lose fat AND gain muscle, select Muscle Gains first.
You need to eat in a surplus to grow! Once you’ve hit your muscle target, do another scan, then switch over to Fat Loss to update your macros for your cut phase.

Body Type

Read each description carefully to ensure you’ve selected the right one.

Activity Level

Choose the activity level you plan to maintain — this significantly influences your macro calculations.

Activity Type

Again, choose the type of activity you intend to do.

The message is simple:
Be specific, be accurate, and if anything changes — adjust your profile so your macros stay spot on.

There is plenty of information inside the app — if you’re unsure about a section, tap “What is this?” for clarification.

After Your Scan

Check your Nutrition section within the EVOLT app.
These recommendations are generated based on your scan data and your goals.
